I am inspired to be able to offer leading-edge tuning fork techniques to balance and harmonize your body, mind & spirit into my healing arts practice. At Progressions in Healing, we only use BioSonic tuning forks, which are designed by Dr. John Beaulieu, N.D., Ph.D., according to scientific standards. Dr. Beaulieu is one of the foremost philosophers and major innovators in the area of sound healing therapies; he is an expert on Stress Science and oversees molecular research on the healing effects of sound and music.
As owner of Progressions in Healing, and as a student of Dr. Beaulieu’s, I am honored to have the opportunity to integrate his pioneering work, BioSonic Repatterning™ into my healing arts practice. This is a natural method of healing and consciousness development using special tuning forks, which is based on the sonic ratios inherent in nature. This work in Sound Healing is based upon Polarity therapy energy principles.
Solar Harmonic Spectrum & Pythagorean Tuning
The lyre was the main instrument the Pythagoreans used to tune the soul. Today, tuning forks are like a modern lyre which is always in tune.¹ The Solar Harmonic Spectrum is the full octave of tuning forks, based upon Pythagorean intervals. The Perfect Fifth is a sonic interval, precisely defined by 2/3 ratio that has long been known to have unique qualities that affect healing and consciousness.
C & G is the interval of a Perfect Fifth. It is the most powerful tuning fork combination and opens the gateway for healing and higher consciousness. Listening to these two different tones brings your entire nervous system into balance, bringing all parts of yourself into a unified harmony, integrating your mind and body.
For this protocol, the tuning forks are tapped, and held within 1”on both sides of your ears (for about 30 seconds), then they are tapped together and moved around your body in the energy field, producing overtones.

Sound Healing - Five Star Polarity Session
The Perfect Fifth or five-pointed star pattern is the archetypal pattern to which our bodies’ subtle electromagnetic energy currents are aligned. The five elements, Ether, Air, Fire, Water, and Earth are energy fields, which express through the five-star pattern, and combine and mix in different ways, like musical tones, to generate currents of energy that sustain everything we know and experience including our thoughts, emotions, and physical body.1
In a Sound Healing – Five Star Polarity Session, the Perfect Fifth is combined with the Five-Star Polarity Therapy protocol. Counseling techniques are introduced first, which involves communication with reflective listening to help discern which elements you are most in need of, or which are imbalanced. This is followed by a visual evaluation of the geometry of the five-pointed star, and the ratios of a Perfect Fifth as overlayed on your bodies structure. We will look at each point, the structural alignment, and note any areas of restriction or elemental imbalance.
Working with specific element intervals and the C & G Body Tuners via humming, sounding overtones and using tension exercises, will allow you to access all your resources on a vibrational level. Polarity therapy bodywork techniques will be used to help balance the elements, activate others, and assist in opening up the five-star pattern. An Otto 128 (vibroacoustic) tuning fork, which is placed directly on the body and travels throughout the body as a Perfect Fifth wave, will also be used to further assist in aligning your physical structure. The sound waves stimulate the connective tissue throughout the body and assists in joint mobility.

Sound Healing - Interval Explorations, Five Element Sessions and Fibonacci Tuners
In Interval Explorations, we will sound and invoke specific intervals that are found lacking, and in need of integration. In Five Element Sessions, multiple Pythagorean Tuning Forks are tapped together in various sequences, which allows them to sound in concert with each other. Different intervals are combined in a particular order to achieve specific goals. Each interval relates to a different state of consciousness. Each interval also affects your nervous system in a unique way by activating specific elemental qualities.
Although the C & G is the most powerful interval, we will be working with all seven intervals, including the interval of an octave…which represents the beginning and ending of a complete cycle.
In working with the Fibonacci Tuners, we will explore the ascent of consciousness along the pituitary/pineal axis, which is called the “Alchemy of Sound.” It is here we discover our inner voice, voice of wisdom, inner guidance, and the healer within. It is a well established fact that the pineal gland and the pituitary bodies are vehicles for the transmission of the highest spiritual forces. The Fibonacci Tuners create a bridge between realities which help promote a healing response.
Counseling techniques, such as those used in Polarity Therapy, will also be used in an elemental evaluation prior to any Interval Exploration, Five Element Session or when working with the Fibonacci Tuners. Guided meditations may also be included.
After establishing an elemental evaluation, a protocol will be customized accordingly that is just right for you.
